Tapestry Mosaics (ONLINE class)
If you like bling, this class is for you. Add a little sparkle to your life or keep it mellow. We will create a textural mosaic using a setting bed in the direct method. Learn about design styles and patterning as well as how to mosaic with materials such as beads, chains, jewelry elements and findings. Learn how to cut materials into small pieces using drop forged tools and how to properly add colorant to an adhesive. This precision project class is packed with tips and tricks. A materials list will be provided however a complete project kit is also available from the instructor. Mosaic experience recommended, but not required.

Micro Mosaics and Jewelry (ONLINE class) 2025
Create beautiful jewelry and micro mosaic art using micro tiles in glass and ceramic, stained glass, rhinestones, findings, beads, and specialty glass including millefiori, smalti and filato. A materials list will be provided however kits will be available for purchase from the instructor. Mosaic experience is useful but not required.

Mosaic Shoe (ONLINE mini class) 2025
Decorate a shoe for interior display. Find out what kind of shoe will work best, which adhesives to use and suitable materials to adorn the shoe. New knowledge can be applied to update the surface of other 3D objects. Tools and materials list will be provided to registered students.

Mosaic Methods (ONLINE class) 2025
Mosaics are fabricated using different methods, depending upon the application. There are many considerations in choosing a method to create your mosaic art including environment and transporting your project. We will look at four basic categories and a total of seven popular methods of creating. A tools and materials list will be provided.

Build a strong foundation in the ancient art form of mosaics using modern tools and materials. Learn everything from setting up your workspace to displaying your work. Learn to cut glass, properly adhere to your tesserae, and finish your work for best results. Planning, design, selection of materials and use of hand tools will be covered. Fabrication techniques and tricks of the trade will be discussed. New student kits can be ordered from the instructor or acquire your own tools and materials (list will be provided). All skill levels welcome.
